PASSION FRUIT

Passiflora edulis var.flavicarpa

The passion fruit belongs to the fruits of passion. The fruit of circular to oval shape weighs between 110 and 125 g and is approximately 6 or 7.5 cm in diameter. When the fruit ripens, it changes from an intense green color to a bright yellow, its crust is thick and smooth, although over time it tends to wrinkle due to the natural maturation process. Its interior contains numerous and small edible seeds of black color.
